Prospectus is excited to be partnering with a leading International Development organisation in order to welcome a new Senior Major Donor Officer. Our client is a global charity that works in some of the world's poorest countries to help build a better future for children and equality for girls. This is a fantastic opportunity Major Donor fundraising professional to join the organisation's growing Major Partnerships team.

Reporting to the Philanthropic Partnerships Team Manager, the Senior Major Donor Officer will be primarily responsible for working across the Major Donor team to develop a new giving circles programme. This will involve developing the programme's strategy, cases for support, prospecting plans and managing several senior volunteers/supporters. The Senior Major Donor Officer will also play an active role in identifying, cultivating, securing, managing and retaining donors - and soliciting major gifts.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally. The organisation are looking for someone with a strong track record in successes with Major Donor fundraising in a charity setting. The Senior Major Donor Officer will be proactive, forward-thinking and passionate. This is an opportunity to take on the responsibility for an exciting new programme whilst working with, and receiving support from, a successful and growing Major Partnerships team.
