About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising Events Team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Care has built up a strong events function, with events currently accounting for a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We are now looking for an Events Executive to help with the planning and delivery of our Scottish events including the Breast Cancer Care Scottish fashion show, Edinburgh Marathon Festival, Glasgow Women’s 10k, Great Scottish Run, Stirling Marathon, Zip Slide the Clyde, Firewalk as well as a range of supporter led events. With the support of the Scottish Events Project Manager and Events Assistant, the post holder will work across these events, fulfilling core tasks for the smooth delivery of the events as well as customer care support to provide an excellent supporter journey to our participants.
We are looking for someone with events fundraising experience who is able to provide first class customer service, build great relationships at all levels and to take responsibility for areas of our portfolio.
You will have outstanding organisational, administration, communication and marketing skills as well as being a key team player and able to deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines. There will also be requirements for event day attendance across the entire Events team portfolio, so an enthusiasm to be involved with events of all natures is a must.
