One of my clients, a £78million turn over membership body based in London, are looking for their next member to join their senior Finance Team.

As the Snr Financial Accountant, you will be leading and managing a team of 4. This is a permanent full time role offering a salary of £54,132 per annum + £4,110 LW.

The post holder will be the expert on all matters relating to statutory accounting regulation including FRS102 and charity accounting. As the post holder you will also be responsible for the calculation and completing of the group VAT returns and all entity corporation tax returns. You will work very closely with the Business Accounts and Finance systems teams to ensure all financial information and reports are accurate and comply with all applicable accounting regulation and other statutory requirements.

Some of your main duties and responsibilities are:
Manage and motivate the financial accounts and treasury management functions, line manage four members of staff, take proactive role in the development and maintenance of financial procedures and controls, manage and develop the operational financial accounting function, reponsible for timely filing of all the organisation's annual accounts and returns etc.

Candidates applying for this role must have the following skills and attributes:
- Recognised CCAB qualified Accountant
- Led and managed a team
- Strong charity experience
- Experience of producing Statutory Accounts using FRS 102 and SORP
- Preparation of VAT and Corporation tax returns

Candidates shortlisted for this role will be required to write a supporting statement. Candidates shortlisted by the client will be attending an assessment centre on 6th August 2018 and interviews on 10th August 2018.
