Do you want to change the world to make it a better place for nature?  Our client are looking for a talented and experienced individual who can help the charity expand its sphere of influence in planning and policy in unprecedented times of land use change and development.

Head of Planning, Policy & Advocacy
Salary: £39,725 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Based:  Littlemore, Oxford

You will oversee a strategic and coordinated response to planning applications across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, will attend public appeals if called to do so, and where appropriate instigate Judicial Review.  You will deliver a vision for nature’s recovery across the region by achieving positive policy change.  You will lead on external advocacy and public campaigning targeting key decision makers and stakeholders, while winning the hearts and minds of the general public.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic mind, a track record and experience in planning, advocacy, lobbying and campaigning, experience of working with multiple stakeholders and of managing a high performing team. 

Our client is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing 90 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

The closing date for applications is 9.00am on 7 August 2018.
Interviews will be held in the week beginning 27 August 2018 at their Offices in Littlemore, Oxford.
