Job Details

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Resource Hub at Unicef UK is a new team which provides analysis, case creation, partnership research and insight, as well as departmental administrative support for the Partnerships and Philanthropy team. This is one of three PA/EA roles currently available.

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and self-motivated administrator. You will provide proactive and effective administrative support to Team heads within Partnerships and Philanthropy, and you will coordinate the administrative processes and systems, working alongside the EA to the Deputy Executive Director, Partnerships and PA to the Director of Corporate & Foundations Partnerships. You will also have the opportunity to line manage a Departmental Assistant.

Organised and proactive, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities and competing demands. You will have experience of providing one-to-one administrative support to a director, or other senior manager, and you will have the confidence to take decisions and deal with routine matters on behalf of senior leaders.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Friday 27 July 2018.

Interview date: Thursday 9 August 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon.  From Summer 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (zone 2).  Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
