PA to Directors – Partnerships

£30,000 per annum

Permanent

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Partnerships directorate at Unicef UK collectively delivers £40m fundraising income annually, managing some of our most significant partnerships and unlocks additional non-financial value for children. We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly-organised PA to join our team. This is one of three PA/EA roles currently available.

As PA, you will provide proactive and effective one-to-one administrative support to at least one director, currently the Director of Corporate & Foundations Partnerships – with particular attention to day-to-day administration and diary/inbox management. You will also provide project management support for strategic initiatives and contribute to the efficient running of the Partnerships directorate.

We are looking for experience in a busy PA role providing one-to-one support to a director/senior leader, planning and coordinating meetings and events, financial administration and servicing meetings. To succeed, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities and competing demands. The work you produce will be consistently high quality and you will have the confidence to take decisions and deal with routine matters on behalf of senior leaders.

This is a great opportunity to provide high level support and gain insight into strategic projects at a world-leading charity.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 25 July 2018.

Interview date: Tuesday, 7 August 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon.  From late August 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (zone 2).  Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
