ABOUT THE ROLE

Would you like to gain on-the-job experience in fundraising? Do you want to gain experience in a small, ambitious team growing income and the audience supporting our work? Will you be our Individual Giving Assistant and support our team so that we can raise money to help more families through breast cancer?

Breast Cancer Care is looking for a bright self-starter wanting to have a career in fundraising. This is an exciting opportunity where you will support different individual giving campaigns (including our online shop and catalogue, direct marketing, raffle, weekly lottery, face to face campaigns, and telemarketing). You will be given opportunities to learn, and you will be supported with your career development within Individual Giving.

This is an ideal job for someone just starting out their career or someone who is looking to change career. You will be a quick learner, be able to work on competing priorities, be a team player and have good IT skills.

Since 1973, we’ve been caring for, supporting and campaigning on behalf of people affected by breast cancer. Today, we offer a unique range of services including one-to-one support over the phone and online from specialists and people who’ve been there, plus local group support. From the moment someone notices something isn’t right, through to their treatment and beyond, we’re there to help them feel more in control.
