Administrator (Housing) 

Position: Housing and Health Support Officer (HH005) Grade 4 
Location: Wallfields, Hertford 
Job Type: Full time, 37 hours per week, permanent 
Salary: £19,269 to £22,998 (inclusive of local weighting) 

Closing date is 31st July at 5pm. 

About the role 

An exciting opportunity for a Support Officer has become available to work as part of the Housing and Health team. This motivated and highly professional team are looking for an individual committed to excellence in their work and with a passion for learning. If successful you will assist across all aspects of Housing and Health. 

As a Support Officer you will support the Housing and Health Service. Some of the key responsibilities include: 

- Providing a ‘helpdesk’ service to record and monitor enquiries, service requests and complaints coming into the Housing and Health Service 
- Provide a first intervention service to supply information to members of the public, allocating appropriate work to various officers, utilising the IDOX Uniform system to record and distribute work 
- Manage incoming post/correspondence 
- To carry out financial administration for the raising and payment of purchase orders and invoices 

Competencies requirements: 

This role will suit a detailed, focused, energetic team player who enjoys a customer focused environment who is looking to take a varied and exciting role covering all aspects of housing and health. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

- Exposure within an operations role would be highly advantageous 
- Experience within a busy administration role within an office environment 
- Intermediate level competency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
