Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Officer to join us and play a key role in the delivery of communication campaigns for the BHF's Retail Directorate. You'll focus on securing media coverage for the BHF's 700+ shops on the high street, our rapidly expanding Furniture & Electrical stores and our eBay site.

You'll be involved in supporting projects across the wider Communications Team and participating in the team's newsdesk and out of hour's service on a rotary basis.

About you

With knowledge of digital communications tools and tactics, including video, updating and maintaining web pages, blogger engagement and social networks, you will have experience of managing, developing and implementing effective media relations campaigns.

You will work alongside teams throughout the organisation and have strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build positive, co-operative relationships to produce world class campaigns.

Experienced at managing numerous tasks and projects with competing deadlines, you will be able to prioritise and manage your own workload ensuring that key deadlines are met and campaigns are delivered to an exceptional standard. Alongside this you'll have excellent writing skills, including the ability to write accurate and engaging copy for a range of audiences.
