Family Engagement Manager
Have you got what it takes to support prisoners and their families?
Our client is a national charity which supports people affected by imprisonment. They provide practical and emotional support to prisoners' children and families and to prisoners themselves. The organisation offers support from courts to prisons through to resettlement and community work.
Position: Family Engagement Manager (Scale 3)
Location: HMP High Down, Surrey (commutable from Sutton, Croydon and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £20,800 (£26,000 FTE)
Benefits: Generous holiday entitlement, child care vouchers, cycle to work scheme, free information advice and counselling plus more.

Interviews commencing week beginning: 23rd July
About the Role:
As Family Engagement Manager at HMP High Down you will manage the organisation's Family team, overseeing visitor centre services; play and children’s services; a booking line, a catering service and family casework support to prisoners.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable capacity to coordinate a broad service, as well as experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families.
You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding work load.
You will have the ability to contribute to planning and development of Pact’s family work and also have knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice.
Furthermore you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in build partnerships with a range of agencies.
You may have experience of the following: Family Engagement Manager, Family Engagement Worker, Visitor Centre Manager, Customer Service Manager, Services Manager, Project Coordinator, Family Services Manager, Senior Support Worker, Family Services, Support Work, Social Work, Advocacy, Mentor, Mentoring, etc.
