Quality and Development Officer (Community Services)

Position: Groupwork Quality & Development Officer 
Location: Homebased East & West Midlands 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Salary: £25,000 per annum

About the role: 

As the Group Work Quality and Development Officer, you will take a key role in the delivery of the client’s relationship and parenting group work ensuring that wider delivery is conducted in line with the client’s quality standards. As well as directly delivering client group work, you’ll do this by delivering training to staff members and the client’s freelance associates, as well as supporting and coaching them as they deliver on behalf of the organisation. The role will assist in keeping group work materials and evaluation data up to date and in developing new content, learning materials and assisting with wider group work services under guidance. 

This role will involve travel primarily across your region but occasionally across England and Wales 

About you: 

The successful candidate will have experience of working with people with convictions in custody / community and with children and families facing social exclusion. They will have demonstrable experience of delivering successful group work programmes to people with convictionss as well as training to staff members and / or other professionals. 

A knowledge and understanding of best practice in safeguarding adults and child protection will be required along with experience in collecting and recording data and using it to inform practice.
