Senior Practitioner / Case Worker (Cancer Charity)
Today, 11 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. Our client is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people, and their families, offering them care and support when they need it most. You can be a part of a team helping them live their life to the full.
Position: Senior Practitioner
Location: London- University College London Hospital
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Salary: £22,018 per annum (£39,124 FTE)
Closing Date: 29 July 2018
Interview Date: 6 August 2018
You will act as the key day to day link within the Multi-Disciplinary Team and ensure the provision of high quality assessment and care management to all service users.
You will provide support to children and young people diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia and their families in addition to working closely with your fellow senior practitioners to lead practice and be responsible for the supervision of our clients Social Care Team in UCLH.
You will need to be a confident and compassionate practitioner and a supportive and knowledgeable supervisor.
