Job Details

Lankelly Chase is an independent foundation working in partnership with people across the UK to change the systems that perpetuate severe and multiple disadvantage. Using a mixed methodology of grant making, commissioned research, policy analysis and special initiatives, the organisation works to shine a light on severe and multiple disadvantage by supporting and sharing best practice, propagating independent thought and influencing systems change. To support it in this journey, the organisation is now looking to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to join its committed team.

This role will involve offering extensive administrative support to the CEO in his ongoing schedule of meetings and events in addition to offering wider support to the leadership team and to the Board of Trustees. This will involve complex schedule management, preparation of Committee and Board papers, detailed minute taking of meetings, co-ordination of programmatic activities and oversight of all governance matters. This role is broad in its remit and will certainly entail getting involved in all aspects of the work of the organisation from project coordination to executive support and day to day essential administrative tasks.

This is a real 'lynchpin' role and is absolutely essential to the delivery of Lankelly Chase's goals. The successful candidate will have considerable experience as a PA or EA in addition to wider project and programme administration. Intelligent, intellectually curious and committed to the work of the organisation, this person will be highly organised, logical and pragmatic in their approach. A natural problem solver and solutions driven, this person will also enjoy being responsible for making things happen and for meeting tight deadlines. IT proficient and social media savvy, the successful candidate will also recognise the importance of this role within the wider context of the work of the organisation. Finally, this will be someone who enjoys coming to work and mixing with interesting and passionate people, bringing a sense of humour, an openness to new ways of doing things and a willingness to hear other people's point of view. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
