Policy Manager

A leading life sciences membership organisation is looking for a Policy Manager to lead on its policy projects and public affairs.

Working closely with the Head of Policy and Communications, you will deliver a series of policy projects to increase the organisation's brand awareness to ensure that its members are effectively represented. You will work with a wide variety of external stakeholders, such as the NHS, medical charities and membership bodies and governmental representatives.

This is a new role within the organisation, and thus requires an experienced policy professional to lead on internal and external stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will have experience of science and/or health policy and of managing policy projects to successful outcomes. You will also ideally have an undergraduate degree in a relevant science / life science subject. Moreover, you will be tenacious and well organised, with an ability to engage stakeholders of all levels.

This is a permanent, full-time position paying 32,000 - 34,000 per annum. The deadline is 27th July, however, I will be sending applications on a rolling basis.
