Job Details

Jaspar Foundation and Charity Events Coordinator
Harris Hill are proud to be partnering with the Jaspar Centre to help recruit for a new Charity Events Coordinator on a part time basis (20 hours a week).

Who are the Jaspar Foundation?

The Jaspar Foundation was set up by Raj Pankhania in 2009. Raj Pankhania and his family have lived in Harrow for over 35 years. Over time he began to notice our elderly sitting on park benches and in shopping malls just to pass the time as they had to nowhere to go during the day. So in 2009 he set up The Jaspar Foundation to support various elderly groups, promoting good health, wellbeing and organised social activities in order to enrich the lives of our elderly and entire community.
This then progressed to a realisation that a permanent place/hub was severely lacking where our elderly could sit in a warm and cosy environment outside the comfort of their home, flourish friendships and feel a sense of belonging over a hot cup of tea. So this went on to the opening of the Jaspar Centre in July 2013.

How does the Charity Events Coordinator contribute to the Jaspar Centre and Foundation?

The Charity Events Coordinator will work closely with the Charity Manager to deliver daily, weekly and regular events for the charity. This can be anything from evening classes, to talks and gala dinners.
