Partnerships & Philanthropy Officer

London

Salary: From £28,000 to £32,000 per annum.

We’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships & Philanthropy Officer to help deliver our new corporate partnerships and philanthropic giving strategies. This is a brand new role with opportunity for growth at this exciting time of progression for Independent Age.

Over the past 10 years, Independent Age has been through a major transformation. We’ve moved from operating as a benevolent trust, to establishing ourselves as a charity that provides impact at scale, helping older people stay independent and live well. Last year, 1 million people accessed our services.

Our plan now is to significantly increase our number of supporters and service users, and to deepen our engagement with them. In order to seize this opportunity and help us turn this vision into a reality, we have brought together the key functions that drive the public to Independent Age – Marketing, Communications and Fundraising – and taken the bold step of building a brand new Engagement Division.

Key to our new Engagement Vision is our ability to create strategic partnerships, delivering exceptional supporter experience and utilising the networks across the organisation to deliver long-term support.

You’ll play a valuable role in this new Division, responsible for the operational delivery of Independent Age’s new corporate partnerships and philanthropic giving strategies. You’ll support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Philanthropy Manager to deliver new fundraising programmes that sustainably increase income from corporate partners, charitable trusts and foundations, strategic and statutory grants and individual major donors

You will have a track record of achieving philanthropic support and building strategic relationships. You will have experience of working with senior colleagues, volunteers and Trustees to support corporate, trusts and major donor fundraising.

Most importantly you’ll be inspired by this unique opportunity to harness the support of corporate partnerships and philanthropy to help more older people as the UK grows older.

If this is you, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing date is 19th July

All applications will be forwarded to our recruitment partners Charity People
