Our client is based in Essex and manages over 10,000 homes in Essex and East London. They pride themselves on providing excellent customer services, and they need ambitious, career minded individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude.

They are looking for passionate, positive and professional individuals with experience of working with older people to join their care team in Colchester.

1 x Senior Care and Support Assistant
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term until March 2019
Salary: £19,013 (inc. on call allowance) + sleep in allowance
Based: Colchester, Essex

Care and Support Assistants required
Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until March 2019
Salary: £6,825 per annum actual (£8.75 p/h)
Based: Colchester, Essex

Working under the guidance of the Operations Manager, you will assist in leading, delivering, supporting and managing a team of staff to deliver personalised care and housing related support.

You are required to complete any other relevant qualifications and training requirements in Health and Social Care and any mandatory company training. Knowledge of Care Quality Commission is required along with the Quality Assessment Framework.

This position is a challenging but rewarding role.  You will ideally have experience of working with older people.  You need to be able to communicate effectively, be self motivated, able to use initiative and make decisions. The role requires flexible working via a rota – the Senior position will also include an on call rota and sleep ins.
