Job Details
This is a part time, 24 hours a week, Finance Officer role working for a Charity based in Central London. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, together you'll be responsible for the delivery of all operational Finance functions.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to processing Accounts payable and receivable invoices, completing BACS & CHAPS payments, handling incoming queries from external and internal suppliers, raising PO numbers, and maintaining petty cash. You will also assist with month end processes, including completing bank and supplier statement reconciliations.
Applicants for this should ideally have experience in similar role ideally within charity. The ability to work closely with non-finance professional and explaining financial concepts to them is a big part of this role so excellent communications is a must.
Prior working knowledge of an accounting software and Excel is also essential. This is a permanent role, for 24 hours a week, and there is flexibility over how these hours are spread, 5 days a week is preferred. The part time salary for this role is £19,817 (28,900 full time equivalent).
