This organisation is a leading health charity, based in North London.

Description

The key responsibilities of this National Partnerships Manager will be:

  • Seek out, develop and sustain new national level partnerships to support targeted recruitment of potential stem cell donors
  • Lead on identifying and securing relationships with partners that enable recruitment of potential donors in a targeted and efficient way
  • Develop targeted partnerships to drive online recruitment
  • Work closely with our university programme team to increase capacity for large events at universities
  • Work with internal teams to ensure that we engage volunteers in large events
  • Managing the day to day delivery of complex relationships / projects
  • Develop a solid and consistent support offer for partners
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to explore and exploit opportunities for partnerships
  • Work across the Engagement division, particularly with the Corporate Fundraising team to identify opportunities to drive income
  • Develop and present creative propositions to a wide range of audiences through written proposals and presentations
  • Develop resources and training materials for partners to promote online and event recruitment

Profile

The person specification for this National Partnerships Manager will be:

  • Strong experience of creating and building new national partnerships, with a personable approach and the ability to build a strong network of potential partners.
  • Previous experience of speaking in public / delivering presentations to a varied audience, especially young people and students.
  • Experience of managing campaigns or projects and working collaboratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work anti-social hours and to travel extensively, including overnight stays
  • Have proven experience of excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with the capability to engage a range of stakeholders and to convey ideas succinctly and persuasively
  • Experience of developing and delivering training
  • Strong inter-personal skills with ability to motivate and persuade people at all levels and from a variety of backgrounds
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure remaining professional and polite under all circumstances
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
