HR Business Partner 

Our client is one of the leading learning disability charities in the country, providing support for 3,000 people with a learning disability and employing around 3000 staff. Operationally, they have been and continue to be innovative in recognising and championing good support, whilst taking an alternative view at how support is provided. Their efforts are sector leading and recognised and observed by CQC and local authorities who provide most of the funding for care packages. 

Position: Senior HR Business Partner 
Location: South East – Kent, Surrey, Sussex & Oxfordshire 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours a week 
Salary: £38,436 per annum plus car / car allowance 

Closing date: Friday 20th July 2018 
Assessments: Thursday 26th July 2018 
Interview date: Monday 6th August 2018 

About the role: 

Like with all Social care providers, they are facing very challenging times ahead. In response to the changing landscape across the learning disability sector, they have developed their business strategy, Fusion Biz, which provides a framework detailing how they run their business support activities, processes and systems across the organisation.

You will be part of a team that is fully engaged in supporting the organisation’s managers to achieve key efficiencies as well as driving cultural change. In addition to this you will be a key part of the divisional management team, working closely with the Divisional Director and other senior managers to develop and bid for new services as well as delivering against key HR priorities 

Working alongside the Divisional Director and the Head of HR to develop and be responsible for the delivery of the strategic and operational people agenda for the Division. 

About you: 

To be successful in this role you will be educated to Degree Level or equivalent or have the level of experience as outlined below. Ideally, you will be a Chartered MCIPD member (or commitment to achieve Chartered Member level within a year of appointment) accompanied with previous experience of complex Employee relations case management up to and including Employment Tribunal casework. 

Experience of advising on pension issues relating to Local Authority or NHS transfers and working within a social care setting or other people-based service provision is essential. You will have the ability to lead projects, chair meetings or run workshop style events. 

Using HR analytics to drive decision making and to support reports, you will have previously managed and delivered projects on time.
