ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising Events Team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Care has built up a strong events function, with events currently accounting for a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We are now looking for an experienced Events Officer to help deliver our Bespoke Events portfolio – currently comprising of our fashion shows, carol concerts, walking events, cycling events, and a range of other glamorous events. The post holder will work across these prestigious events and will need a highly motivated and creative approach with primary responsibility to build and deliver a growing base of bespoke event activity. The role will require you to work with a range of individuals from supporters, committees, sponsors, suppliers, volunteers and senior management.
We are looking for someone with events fundraising experience in delivering high end and large scale events for 400 to 2,000 guests/participants. Outstanding organisational, marketing, budget management and communication skills are required whilst being a key team player. The post holder will be accustomed to working on various projects, will be flexible and able to deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
