Job Details
TPP are working with a well-established international development charity to recruit a Project Manager to join their organisation on a fixed term contract of 9 months. The successful candidate will review all projects across the organisation to ensure that things are being managed effectively and consistently. You will also have designed projects that you will directly manage.
Main duties for the Project Manager:
Provide advice and support on best practice and methodology to manage projects
Build capacity on new project cycle management guidelines across the organisation
Working closely with project leads, coordinate, advise and guides effective project management inputs
Identify skills gaps
Advise teams on necessary reporting and monitoring and evaluation of existing projects
Essential criteria for the Project Manager:
Project management experience within an international NGO
Good understanding of project cycle management
Good understating of planning, monitoring and evaluation of institutional funded projects
Good analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to facilitate workshops and face to face training sessions
