Harris Hill are seeking a Development Manager on behalf of an international healthcare NGO. This organisation are an international membership organisation that provides support to individuals affected by skin conditions in developing nations.

This role is a part time vacancy for 21 hours per week and is responsible for grant programme management and fundraising. Based in London the post holder will have a broad and exciting role which works closely with the Executive Director and wider leadership team.

Please note: This role is Maternity cover (9-12 months approx)

Key responsibilities: 
- Reviewing, developing and managing the grant programmes which ensures that there is a robust, clear, accountable and consistent grants process
- Administering grant applications according to agreed timelines and deadlines
- Working with colleagues and volunteers, managing the collection and presentation of information on past and current grant projects for fundraising
- Monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment responsibility for the collection of and recording of data to monitor the impact of activities towards its strategic objectives
- Leading the development of annual fundraising plans to meet defined financial targets
- Identifying opportunities and an appropriate process for engaging with medical and clinical volunteers.

Experience & skills:
- Experience of grants and projects management, or related field, preferably in an organisation working internationally
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines amid a range of competing demands
- Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated relationship management experience and the ability to work with a diverse range of people at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Very proactive, able to work independently and use own initiative
