Leasehold Officer / Income Management / Debt Management / Social Housing

Full Time - Permanent 35 hours per week
£33,000 per annum

Our client is a locally based housing association with over 2,800 homes in and around Tower Hamlets for people in housing need.

They are currently recruiting for a Leasehold Officer who will deliver a first class service to leaseholders and shared owners, ensuring service and other changes and correctly managed enquiries are dealt with swiftly.

You will monitor receipt of service charge and liaise with the Income Officer and ensure that appropriate action is taken to pursue outstanding debts in accordance with Lease agreement and policy and procedure, refer cases to lenders and monitor progress in a timely manner and develop and provide a one-stop shop approach to dealing with service enquiries.

It is essential you have comprehensive knowledge of this area of work and have previous experience with working on service charge calculations, apportionments, collection and refunds.
