Job Details
We are looking for an immediately available Accounts Assistant to join an award winning Chocolate Company. Reporting into a Finance Manager, this role is responsible for managing supplier and customer invoicing and accounts, and all routine cash and banking processes for the UK business. Please not this is 1 month contract with the view to carry on as a rolling contract for 5-6 weeks.
Key responsibilities:
- Process invoices and credit notes and pass to responsible staff or manager for checking or authorisation.
- Update NetSuite with authorised invoices and credit notes.
- Ensure the correct exchange rate is used to convert foreign currency invoices and payments.
- Administer petty cash and post to correct nominal account at end of each month.
- Maintain accurate and organised filing and archiving systems.
Key skills and qualifications:
- 2-3 years working in a finance function
- Studying towards to AAT or professional qualification
- Confident
- Good communication and organisational skills
