Prospectus is excited to be partnering with Bowel Cancer UK and Beating Bowel Cancer, who merged in January 2018 and together are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of all those affected by bowel cancer in the UK. To achieve their mission, they enable and fund research, provide support and information to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all. They are currently looking to recruit a Major Donor Manager to lead on producing income for the major donor programme each year.

The Major Donor Manager will work very closely with the CEO, Director of Fundraising and the Head of Philanthropy to secure income from major donor sources. Some excellent work has been done on recruiting an engaged Development Board and some excellent cases for support are in place, so there is no better time to join the team! The Major Donor Manager will be responsible for initiating, establishing and managing relationships with major donors and will prepare bespoke stewardship and cultivation plans for each individual.

The selected candidate will benefit from a new and emerging five-year strategy and strong, engaged senior leadership team committed to fundraising at every level. You will have experience of securing funds from major donors and will be a relationship fundraiser committed to raising funds for a variety of projects. You will be an engaging and energetic professional committed to gaining support through mutually beneficial fundraising and relationship management.
