Our client puts people affected by MS at the centre of everything they do, and it’s this commitment that unites them across the UK.

Their vision is a world free from the effects of MS. Their ultimate goal is to find a cure, but until then, they will do all that they can to enable people with MS to live life, knowing that they do not have to face MS alone.

They have launched their new five year organisational strategy this year, so it's an exciting time to join this charity. The strategy is based on what people living with MS have told the charity is important to them, and that gives a clear and determined focus.

They have big aspirations and they need brilliant new people to help them achieve their ambitious goals.

Reporting to the Research Manager, you will be capable of coordinating the review of Care and Services applications to the charity’s research grant round, as well as helping build their own evidence around the needs of people affected by MS in the UK. In addition you will play a key role in implementing their new research strategy, providing strong support for their care and services research initiatives such as the MS Register.

As Research Officer you’ll be armed with proven skills and experience in administration and project management, combined with outstanding organisational and communication skills as well as a proven track-record in working in a complex and varied working environment. You will be joining the organisation at an exciting stage of its development and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team.

They offer 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) a 35 hour working week, travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.
