Community Fundraiser 

Our client is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in the South West. 

Position: Community Fundraiser (Maternity Cover) 
Location: Based at Tiverton & Fremington – Covering (Exeter, Torbay, Mid and South Devon and West Somerset) 
Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) 
Hours: 37 hours per week 
Salary: £26,184 to £30,743 per annum

About the role: 

They have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to join their busy team at to cover a period of maternity leave. They are looking for an individual with the drive to develop income, build relationships, grow event support and initiate opportunities. An exemplary public speaker, they will raise significant awareness of our client by achieving demanding speaking engagement and other non-financial and financial targets. 

About you: 

You will be a leading volunteer management within your area. Excellent organisational skills and proven success in a relevant role such as fundraising or sales is essential. 

This interesting and varied role has a requirement to work at weekends and at different locations across the South West and the UK at times. A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement. 

You may have experience of the following: Community Fundraiser, Fundraising, Charity, Not for Profit, Third Sector, Volunteer Management, Business Development, Legacy, Fundraiser, Volunteer Manager, Charities etc.
