We are the Parkinson's support and research charity. Among our greatest strengths are our people, the enthusiasm of our local groups and supporters, and the commitment of our staff.

We continue to work to find a cure, and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's. You could be part of helping us achieve this.

There has never been a more exciting time to join Parkinson's UK, where every member of staff plays a vital part in supporting people with Parkinson's and bringing us closer to a cure.

If you want the opportunity to lead an innovative, bright and motivated fundraising team in a vibrant, forward-thinking directorate, this is a great step for you.  Parkinson's UK is keen to engage with highly motivated candidates who can offer strong leadership skills, fundraising knowledge and a passion for driving forward projects and delivering change.

This fixed term post will join an established Regional Fundraising management team to motivate and lead a large group of remotely-based fundraisers and support staff in order to deliver local activity and income, and will have the opportunity to lead a number of high-profile projects and new initiatives that impact on our fundraising across the UK.

We are looking for confident and self-motivated leaders, who have a previous track record of delivering results through the line management of a team and have the ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues across the charity, supporters, our UK local groups, members and volunteers.  You should be a great project manager who is keen to use their skills and experience to make a difference across the Regional Fundraising team over the next year.

The position will be based from your home with regular travel to work with colleagues and direct reports, attend events and to visit our UK Office (in London) therefore you need to be able to travel without reliance on public transport.  If you are driving, you need to have held your full driving license for a minimum of one year.  The role will manage six members of fundraising staff based across the North of England and Wales and the post holder will need to live in or be able to travel easily to the area covered.

If you have the skills and experience we require, we would love to hear from you?
