Location: The Spires Centre, 8 Tooting Bec Gardens, London, SW16 1RB.  

Salary:  circa £50,000         

Hours:  Full time – 36 Hours   

What is Spires?

Spires is a London based charity who will support anyone who is in a state of need. Their clients have a range of complex needs including homelessness, insecure accommodation, unemployment, mental and physical ill health, addiction and substance abuse. Some are victims of domestic abuse and others imprisoned in sex work with entrenched addictions and chaotic lifestyles.

The charity is committed to promoting the dignity of individuals by working to restore their self-esteem and relieve their loneliness. They strive to discover the unique qualities of everyone accessing their services in order to meet individual needs.

Who are we looking for?

The new Chief Executive will actively develop the way in which the mission and values of Spires are implemented in all aspects of the work, ensuring the work reflects the charity’s values.

The appointed candidate will have previous leadership and senior management experience in an organisation offering similar services as well as the passion and determination to drive Spires’ service delivery forward. They will understand the specific needs of people affected by homelessness and have evidence of influencing, establishing rapport, and building positive partnerships with key external stakeholders.

They will be a strategic thinker, able to ensure the financial health of the charity and will be a strong communicator with an ability to facilitate collaboration both internally and externally.
