The client is a leading Higher Educational body, looking for an Events Officer. The role covers all the logistical arrangements for a range of events. It's a very busy and varied job and would suit someone with great organisational events skills.

Description

The Event Officer will be aligned to the External Relations team and take responsibility across the following key areas:

• Supporting the planning and execution of a large variety of Faculty events.
• Working across departments to market the events.
• Work with colleagues within the department to implement strategic event plans.
• Attending and managing events on the day.
• Coordinating operational aspects of the events.
• Managing and keeping up to date the events pages of the Faculty and department websites.
• Provide reports of the events ran.
• Working alongside the Senior Marketing Officer, ensuring CRM system is up-to-date.

Profile

The candidate that secures this Events Officer position will bring the following skills and attributes:

• Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering a wide range of events.
• Excellent standard of English.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Excellent IT skills (Office, analytics software and content management systems).
• Able to prioritise work under pressure/contribute to multiple events at once.
• Using analytics and measurable to guide development.
• Creative, enthusiastic and confident professional and team player.
• Ability to engage with different audiences both internally and externally.

Job Offer

• Initial 3 month contract with possibilities of extension.
• Core hours of 9-5.
• £27,000-£30,000.
