Major Gifts and Trusts (Fundraising) Manager
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £28,800 to £30,400 pa FTE – Band F (The Peace Way, Pay Structure)
Location: Watford, with some flexibility for home based working.
If you’re looking to join a fantastic income generation team, we’re looking for an exceptional candidate to help drive our major gifts and trust strategy.
This is an excellent opportunity for an existing manager looking to expand the remit of their role,or, for the right candidate, looking to step up into a managerial post.
To succeed in the role, you will need to:
…be adept at building relationships – by having strong interpersonal skills; understanding the motivations that drive our supporters and providing excellent donor stewardship and communications.
…have demonstrable experience of raising significant sums – by being target driven and able to craft excellent fundraising asks, cases for support and trust applications.
…be an exceptional communicator – both in person and through your written communications, you will also need to have great attention to detail and the ability to really demonstrate to our supporters the impact of their donations.
…have strategic, organisational and creative skills – to really grow our major gifts, trusts and legacy income in the short, medium and long term.
