Legacy Administration Coordinator – The Role

You will be a key member of the team helping us maximise the income received from legacies bequeathed to WWF UK while taking account of the wishes of each and every Testator and the sensitivities of their remaining family and friends.

You will enjoy a varied and interesting role by taking responsibility for all aspects of team administration.  You will ensure all legacy processes and procedures are followed including accurately populating the legacy database with up to date information, maintaining filing systems both live and archived and coordinating and processing all team purchasing system requirements. In addition, you will handle general legacy queries and provide any other administrative support to the team as needed.  You will also be involved in dealing with many different professionals and private individuals some of whom are recently bereaved and require an extra level of sensitivity and compassion.

Legacy Administration Coordinator – Requirements

Ideally you will be educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent in English and Mathematics and have gained experience working at an advanced administrative level within either a legal environment or a charity. Computer skills are vital, especially a working knowledge of MSOffice and general database experience.

Calm under pressure you will possess good organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task. You will also have the ability to build firm and caring relationships with our supporters and their families as well as maintaining a professional and helpful approach with solicitors and executors.

Who are we?

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive.

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
