Job Details

The Head of Finance supports the Director of Finance & Corporate Services in ensuring that The Trussell Trust has an efficient, professional, accurate and supportive finance function to maximize the use of resources and achieve The Trussell Trust’s strategy over the coming years. The position will work closely with the Head of IT and Digital and also the Facilities Manager, within the same directorate.

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of the charity sector, especially understanding around management of restricted funds. You will have experience of reviewing systems and processes and implementing financial controls. You should be a confident user of IT systems; ideally, Exchequer or a similar comparable system and good Excel skills are a must. You should be able to manage a small team of finance colleagues to work to regular reporting deadlines, but also be able to support colleagues across the wider charity especially around budgeting and variance reporting.
