Job Details

Partnership Research Manager

Circa £35,000 per annum

Permanent

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Resource Hub at Unicef UK is a new team which provides analysis, case creation, partnership research and insight as well as departmental administrative support for the Partnerships and Philanthropy team. As a central resource to all high value fundraising, the Resource Hub is critical to Unicef UK’s success in maximising the value of our partnerships, and we will be recruiting four new roles to support this critical work.

As Partnership Research Manager, you will provide high quality research, profiles, mapped networks and biographies about existing and potential supporters as well as insight into high value audiences and markets.

You will play a central role in helping Unicef UK to understand what is important to our high value audiences and aligning their philanthropic ambitions to our own strategic priorities and, ultimately, delivering our mission to promote children’s voices, advocate for and create change and unlock resources for children.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience of high value supporter and prospect research, and its application in high level fundraising best practice, within a charity or equivalent organisation. You should have demonstrable experience in supporting fundraising teams to manage relationships and a high value prospect pipeline by using insight and research to contribute to fundraising objectives. Knowledge of GDPR and how it affects research and high value fundraising is also essential.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, 16 July 2018.

Interview date: Friday, 27 July 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon. From Summer 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (zone 2). Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
