Education Centre Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)

An unique and exciting opportunity for a pragmatic, highly organised individual to join us as Education Centre Coordinator for our vibrant charity, which aims to inspire and educate children and adults, many with special educational needs and disabilities, within the beautiful setting of Richmond Park.

Ideally, you’ve previous experience working with groups of children, in a formal educational setting, have great organisational/planning skills and love admin. You’ll be supporting and playing a pivotal part in the Centre’s busy education programme, helping with the day-to-day operations of the Centre, working with visiting schools/groups, volunteers and trustees. You’ll help with the delivery of the Centre’s wide range of nature and heritage activities in this extraordinary environment. Which is why, we hold the Learning Outside the Classroom, award for our outstanding education sessions.

It would be desirable if you have experience of working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities.

If you’re great with people, inspiring and energising those around you, enjoy being adaptable and prioritising work, thrive on new challenges, can creatively use social media, are highly reliable and determined to do a great job, then this is the role for you!

The salary is £25,000 pa. The start date for this role will be 1^st October 2018, this role is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.  We are able to offer potential candidates the opportunity to visit the Centre to discover more about the work that we do before applying.
