Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

Unicef UK’s Foundation Partnerships team works to deliver significant income from private trusts and foundations, institutional donors and statutory partners, in order to deliver results for children around the world.

We are seeking an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser to oversee the Foundation Partnerships team’s work with private trust and foundation donors and strengthen our private funding strategy. As Head of Private Funding, you will personally manage a portfolio of £1m+ prospects and donors, building and cultivating partnerships with trust and foundation partners at the highest level.

To succeed, you will have exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills as well as a strong track record of securing six or seven figure gifts from trust and foundations, including through face-to-face negotiations. An experienced people manager, you will be able to support and motivate team members to spot and capitalise on opportunities, open new markets, develop powerful proposals and engage new prospects.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 9am, Monday 16 July 2018. Interview date: Thursday 19 or Friday 20 July 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon. From Summer 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (zone 2). Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offence(s).

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
