Description

As an Interim Internal Communications Manager you will

  • Develop and maintain an internal communications plan that supports the strategic objectives of the organisation
  • Develop and manage internal communication activities that promote and build the vision and values of the organisation
  • Manage and deliver regular communications to colleagues though a range of channels, ensuring ease of access, clarity and consistency of messages (Broadcast, e-Bulletins, In-House Magazine, briefing materials, team briefings, Conferences/road shows etc)
  • To motivate, performance manage and develop the skills of the Communications Officers
  • Lead the team in developing , writing and editing content for all communication delivery channels
  • Support in the management of the annual employee survey and feedback process, working alongside People Services colleagues. Evaluate the effectiveness of the process and identify communication improvement areas. Build feedback channels

Profile

  • A track record of working as an Internal Communications Manager and is able to act in a consultative capacity. You would of ideally managed a large- scale change programme
  • You may have worked as an interim or a consultant delivering change transformation programmes and who understands cultural change
  • Has experience of staff engagement and must have dealt with a variety of stakeholders at various level. You must be comfortable at dealing with board level
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • You must have a strong commercial background ideally within the private sector
  • YOU MUST BE available in the next 2-4 weeks as this is a contract role
