ABOUT US

Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to supporting people affected by breast cancer. Our vision is that every person affected by breast cancer receives the best treatment, information and support.

Since 1973, we’ve been caring for, connecting with and campaigning on behalf of women with breast cancer. Today, we continue to campaign for better care and our unique range of services includes one-to-one support over the phone and online from specialists and women who have been there, plus local group support. From the moment someone notices something isn’t right, through to their treatment and beyond, we’re there to help women with breast cancer feel more in control.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Breast Cancer Care’s corporate partnerships have delivered 45% of the charity’s income over the past decade. They are a huge part of the organisation and essential to ensuring we can achieve our vision for people affected by breast cancer. The team are fortunate to be able to see the impact of their work every day.

We currently have a portfolio of amazing partnerships with well-known brands spanning across various sectors, many of which we’ve partnered with for over a decade, and a strong team vision for what needs to be achieved over the next five years to significantly grow income from this source.

We are looking for an exceptional leader to lead and inspire our team of talented and ambitious corporate fundraisers for 12 months, delivering the remainder of Year 2 and setting the team up for success for Year 3 of the agreed plan.  The right person would have a track-record of securing significant new income, direct experience of managing multi-faceted, shared value partnerships and be skilled at delivering exceptional results through others.

Passion is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives under pressure and is driven to beat income targets. They will be a natural relationship builder who is able to bring their gravitas to influence at a senior level.

This role sits within a dynamic, creative and collaborative team who have big ambitions for the future. This role is a key part of the Fundraising & Marketing leadership team, which is also vital in implementing the departmental strategy and ultimately, meeting our income targets for 18/19 and beyond.

Closing date for applications: 9am on Friday 13 July 2018
