Are you looking for a break into a paid fundraising role in a national charity in the charity sector? Are you highly organised with exceptional interpersonal skills, and demonstrable track record in administration and database skills? Are you able to demonstrate your interest in the charity sector through your experience?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hungry and energetic person to support the Philanthropy team and learn the workings of the team from the inside, to become an anchor, but also to conduct some research into donors. What the charity is looking for is someone who is highly dependable and responsible, as happy data inputting as calling donors, persuading team members, and most likely able to work on a number of cross team projects at the same time. 

High value giving and Events are a key part of this charity's fundraising, and the Philanthropy team is targeted to raise in £1.25m million in 18/19.

The Philanthropy Assistant will report in to the Senior Philanthropy Manager and support the Head of High Value giving and events, Senior Philanthropy Manager and Philanthropy Officer to ensure all existing donors have the best possible experience. They will also identify and research potential new high value givers. 

Ultimately this will help ensure that high value donor communications are co-ordinated and maximised, and the pool of high value supporters continues to grow, which will help the charity to achieve its objectives to support young homeless people.
