Database Manager
The Data & Digital Team provides the foundations for all the League’s marketing and fundraising and is essential in supporting our ambitious growth plans. Using your extensive expertise in Raiser’s Edge, you will develop its use across the organisation as our key asset to our future fundraising success.
You will have experience and an understanding of data analysis, database solutions and wider CRM systems, as well as technical management and maintenance of the database. You will be able to perform complex data processes, queries, imports and exports and produce detailed reports for use in research and analysis.
You will work collaboratively with the Marketing & Fundraising team to identify their needs and will implement systems to enable the team to obtain information. You will provide training to upskill fundraisers and will work with the teams to enhance our knowledge on our supporter’s motivations and giving habits to create supporter profiles.
You will have excellent working knowledge of GDPR and will ensure that the League’s supporter database and all related data processes are fit-for-purpose. You will be the League’s primary point of contact for GDPR across all departments.
The League is Britain's leading charity working to stop animals from being persecuted, abused and killed for sport. The League was instrumental in helping bring about the landmark Hunting Act. We manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties. We work to change attitudes and behaviour through education, fact-based videos, scientific reports and public engagement events.
