Post: Head of Resources and Compliance
Salary: £48 - 51K per annum depending on experience
Location: Central London
Our client has been bringing haematology professionals together since 1960 to transform the care they provide to patients. With 1700 members worldwide, they are the largest organisation of their kind and the only society to cover all aspects of the specialty.
While most of their members are consultants and trainee doctors, they also provide membership to clinical and biomedical scientists, pharmacists and nurses. One of their core objectives is to strengthen membership engagement in all the organisation’s activities.
The role
They are looking for a proven leader to work closely with the Chief Executive to drive the successful development and execution of the charity’s strategy, plans and policies. With the ability to apply legislation and good practice effectively to practical situations, you will lead the management and administration of the HR, Compliance, Facilities, Finance and IT functions. You will ensure the Board receives appropriate advice and information particularly on all relevant financial and compliance matters to enable it to fulfil its governance responsibilities.
In this diverse role, the successful candidate will have sound knowledge of statutory requirements and best practices in relation to finance, HR and health and safety. The ability to build strong rapport and good working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and contractors alike will be vital. With experience of developing and implementing a range of strategies, policies, procedures and business plans, you will need to be able to work across multiple projects, demonstrating your solid project management skills.
