About us
Since its foundation in 1876, The Physiological Society has promoted physiology and supported those working in the field by organising world-class scientific meetings, offering grants and publishing the latest developments in its leading scientific journals.
The Policy Manager (PM) is responsible for delivering a series of policy projects to ensure that the views of physiologists are represented on a national stage.
This role will manage our policy projects and bring diverse groups of stakeholders together in order to increase awareness of The Society and physiology in the health arena, including among funders, NHS, government, and charities.
The role will report to the Head of Policy and Communications and is based at our head office in Farringdon, London. It will require a willingness to travel with within the UK and work outside office hours on occasion.
What do you need:
Pro-activity with experience of science/health policy and an understanding of policy landscape along with strong project management skills.
