Description

The Corporate Fundraising Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing a Corporate Fundraising strategy ensuring that existing relationships are managed, new partnerships are developed and income generating opportunities are maximised
  • Researching new fundraising opportunities, segmenting and then planning approaches to build the Corporate income stream for future years
  • Working with the Director of Fundraising to write and develop a Corporate fundraising strategy for the next 3 years in line with the wider fundraising strategy

  • Once the strategy is developed, the role will then deliver against this strategy in line with income targets, maximising existing Corporate Fundraising opportunities whilst seeking new business

  • Developing corporate sponsorship packages, employee fundraising opportunities, affinity marketing and commercial participator relationships

  • Working with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to engage with Corporate participants and to develop and broaden Corporate partnerships

  • Staying informed of sector developments

  • Effective stewardship of all supporters

  • Providing support for Corporate and/or employee fundraising events to ensure that the opportunity to raise funds is maximised

  • Managing a pipeline of prospects

  • Keeping up to date records and reporting on the status of relationships

  • Managing the Corporate income and expenditure budget

Profile

The successful applicant will have:

  • Educated to "A" level standard or equivalent
  • Significant proven experience gained within a Corporate Fundraising role
  • Proven experience of growing income from corporate partners
  • Experience of building an income stream
  • Significant account management experience
  • Demonstrate understanding and empathy with people who face challenges from disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding people skills able to engage and motivate staff, volunteers and supporters
  • Excellent research skills
  • Good IT skills (we use MS Office 365), to include working with a fundraising database (they use Harlequin)
  • Professional fundraising qualification or Member of the Institute of Fundraising highly desirable
