The Big Lottery Fund are now recruiting for an experienced external/public affairs professional who is passionate about communities and committed to sharing the good news stories of their projects at a national level

- £32.395 - £41,003 depending on experience

- Permanent - Full Time

 

The Role

 

The primary purpose of this role will be to lead the Fund's engagement with external stakeholders, building networks with political and non-political audiences including government, parliament, national charities and other funders. The External Affairs Manager will create and deliver events and meetings such as parliamentary receptions, roundtables and other non-political external events.

-Experience of event management and delivery - political and non-political events

- Political awareness

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and networking skills - internally and externally

- Line management experience

- Project Management experience

- Strong written and verbal communications

- Strong leadership skills
