Development Manager

Harris Hill are recruiting a Development Manager on behalf of a London based charity that provide counselling an support to people with learning difficulties.
This role is responsible for income generation from business development and the acquisition of income from trusts and foundations.

The organisation provide a range of services and training to trauma counselling professionals and they're keen to further develop revenue from earned income as well as from grant giving trusts and foundations.

Key responsibilities
- To actively seek business opportunities that are consistent with the charities mission
- To lead on developing business plans for and with each service
- To identify and cultivate partnership opportunities for joint contracts and funding bids
- To fundraise from, and manage relationships with, charitable trusts and foundations
- To fundraise and manage relationships with commissioners

Experience and skills
- Previous experience of income generation within the voluntary sector
- Entrepreneurial in identifying and nurturing business opportunities
- Experience of managing funder and donor relationships
- An ability to forward plan and deliver against established plans to achieve success
- Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
