Our client is a national charity and a leading force in supporting people with learning disabilities and their families. A nationwide organisation, they support over 2,500 people through innovative, person-centred services with a strong focus on promoting independence.
Position: Field Support Analyst
Location: National Role covering England & North Wales
Salary: £26,611 pa plus car allowance of £320 per month.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Closing date: Monday 9 July 2018
About the Role
Working in the busy IT Department you will work as part of a team to deliver IT services for our client. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining remote sites; working in partnership with stakeholders within their organisation to ensure the ICT service is able to deliver the needs for their users, the organisation, and the People They Support.
You will exhibit good time-management skills, including day to day planning, scheduling and prioritising tasks, and the regular submission of timesheets to management. You’ll have responsibility for the overall management of Configuration Manager, ensuring all elements of the system are monitored and kept up to date including setting up, Deploying and monitoring Software Package installations.
Travelling to other sites to carry out maintenance, installations and support as and when required is a key responsibility of this role. Ensuring details for all Problems, Changes and Projects that you are responsible for are logged in the ITIL database you will maintain documentation and network diagrams within their organisation.
About You
The right candidate will need up to date knowledge of technology, hardware and software developments and be able to relate technology to business, departmental and customer needs.
You will need excellent problem-solving skills whilst having a friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others are all essentials.
A full, current UK/EU driving licence is essential as this role includes travel around the country and staying away from home if required.
