Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools nationwide to build children's resilience through talking, creative work and play. We help children to cope with wide-ranging and often complex social issues including bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma.

Place2Be is at a pivotal point in its journey. In the last 23 years, we've grown from 5 schools in London to 282 schools nationwide and we are now recognised as a leading provider of mental health support in schools across the country. There is also growing recognition both politically and publicly of the importance of children’s mental health.

We are now looking for a highly strategic CFO to take responsibility for the financial management and direction of the organisation. This includes developing long-term financial forecasts, organisational effectiveness, business development and modelling. You will also have responsibility for leading the IT and facilities teams, and playing a key role on the Senior Leadership Team.

You will be a fully qualified accountant, with significant senior leadership experience, and experience of pricing and costing services, preferably in a multi-function organisation. You will be skilled at reviewing, enhancing and developing financial management systems and bring experience of strategically managing and developing IT. Critically, you will be able to contribute and challenge effectively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, and establish a strong working relationship with the Chief Executive, supporting her on organisational wide strategy where appropriate.
