IT Projects Manager

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with Frontline to recruit an IT Projects Manager to lead a newly established technology team.

Frontline transforms the lives of vulnerable children by recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in social work and more broadly across society. Now in its fourth year, the Frontline Programme works across London and the South East, North West, North East and West Midlands, developing the leadership skills of first line social work managers.

Frontline continues to grow and expand its impact. A crucial component of the next stage of their development is investment in a major development project that reflects their commitment to developing the systems and technology to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of the charity. The role of IT Projects Manager, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, has been created to lead the strategic development of the IT function and rapidly improve Frontline's use of technology. The post holder will be responsible for all IT services and development across Frontline including: leading the Technology team; leading on key strategic projects such as a SharePoint Migration; development of their CRM (Salesforce) and overseeing the outsourced service desk. The role offers the opportunity to lead on the strategic development of a full IT function alongside hands on project delivery and management of services.

The opportunity could suit an established IT professional who is motivated by the mission, purpose, values and culture of Frontline or a technical manager looking to expand their skills and step up into a role which offers the opportunity to lead on technology strategy.

The current systems used by Frontline include: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Salesforce, Form Assembly, Campaign Monitor and a Word Press website, Cezanne HR, Skype for Business and in future plan to migrate from an in-house server to using SharePoint.

The right candidate for this role be will be a strategic thinker and exceptional project manager who is experienced in developing people and excited about the use of technology to improve ways of working within organisations. Key skills and experience should include: leading or contributing to IT strategies, the management and integration of Microsoft SharePoint and MS 365, knowledge of CRM systems, databases, data management and reporting.
