HR Coordinator. £26,000 per annum. Full time, part time or reduced hours considered. Huntingdon
Our client are seeking a HR Coordinator to join the organisation on a permanent basis. This is a varied role that requires someone who has previous HR experience, who can take ownership of specific aspects of the HR function and support delivery of the HR service across the organisation. This role ideally suits someone who is very organised and is good at managing their own work load. You will be passionate about people, an excellent and confident communicator as well as a great team player, who is highly personable.
About the role:
- Providing first line HR support and guidance to managers and employees
- Providing support to managers with recruitment administration
- Generating contracts, offers, leaver letters, change to terms (HR and Payroll)
- Inducting new starters, administration for probation period management
- Logging and monitoring absence and associated reporting
- Updating employee changes including salary, terms and conditions
- Managing the HR inbox
- Requesting DBS checks and references (current and previous employees)
- Maintaining HR records via the online HR system, creating new records
- Identifying and implementing HR process improvements
- Providing support for new and ongoing HR projects
About you:
- Experience in a similar HR role is essential
- A flexible approach, with the ability to self-manage
- Organised and efficient with the ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including MS Office
- Previous use of an HR System
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A CIPD qualification is desirable
